Select Risk Captive is an alternative risk financing program for qualifying cannabis operators. Coverage availability, forms, exclusions, limits, retentions, funding obligations, ownership rights, and eligibility depend on underwriting, state requirements, and executed program documents. Participation involves retained risk; savings, investment income, and distributions are not guaranteed. A XV-rated issuing paper is the specified placement standard, subject to confirmation of the insurer and current rating. An issuing insurer's rating does not constitute a rating of the captive. HISIG and SRC are distinct programs with separate structures and obligations within the Sims Insurance portfolio.
